The Winter Art Fair Off the Square is the seasonal companion to the popular summer Art Fair Off the Square, celebrating its 35th year in 2025. Held indoors at the stunning, Frank Lloyd Wright-designed Monona Terrace Convention and Community Center in downtown Madison, this fine art event showcases over 135 talented Wisconsin artists working in a wide variety of mediums including ceramics, painting, fiber, glass, wood, photography, jewelry, sculpture, and more.

Visitors can enjoy live musical performances throughout the weekend and take part in special features like the Young Collectors’ Corner, where kids under 12 can purchase artwork at youth-friendly prices. On Saturday, don’t miss the Silent Auction, featuring donated work from participating artists to support the event. The fair runs Saturday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM. It’s a great opportunity to support Wisconsin’s creative community and shop for unique, handmade gifts during the holiday season.
